Applications for NEW LISD transfer students will begin on Monday, April 1st. The application to apply online will be listed below. All applications must be submitted by April 30^th to be considered for the 2024-2025 school year.

Inter-District Transfer Guidelines

Submit one form per student requesting transfer to Liberty ISD. If you have a child in grades 1-12, a copy of their attendance, discipline, and grades must be submitted with the application.

If approved, I understand that the transfer is granted conditionally based on the following criteria: program availability, student behavior, grades, and attendance, including tardies. The transfer may be revoked based on LISD Board Policy FDA/FDB(LOCAL). It is effective for one school year only. I understand that transportation to the requested school is my responsibility. I understand that falsification of information is a Class A misdemeanor and can lead to legal action. I have read and understand the District policy and Inter-District Guidelines on out of district transfers, and I agree to abide by all rules and regulations set forth in said documents. I understand that as a transfer student, school placement may be changed to accommodate resident students.
